Honoring those who paid the ultimate sacrifice

On May 7th, the Suffolk County PBA, alongside officers from multiple Police Departments across New York State, gathered in Albany at the State of New York Police Officers Memorial to pay tribute to the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. With heavy hearts, we honored the memory of two of SCPD’s fallen:
• Officer Robert Kirwan
• Chief Thomas Compitello
These two heroes’ names now reside on the NYS Police Memorial Wall for all to see. Let us always remember their selfless dedication to safeguarding our communities.
